Healing Spirit Community Natal Chart

This is the natal wheel for this new community. We are a double Cancer, with a Sagittarius Ascendant which I thought would be a wonderful way for us to grow a "home" (Cancer) here on the net and reach out on a global scale (Sagittarius)...

I know looking at this chart wheel will look like a pretty drawing to some and a different language to others... If you stick with me though, I will teach you the language of astrology, follow along with the questions I ask below and get started and together we will grow and learn much about astrology and how it relates to us!

Comment by Starlene Breiter on August 11, 2009 at 1:17pm: Mercury in retrograde isnt so bad, if you look at it as a good time to do some reflecting and reorganizing your life then all will be well.

I truly believe that we see what we believe, so if we expect bad things to happen, then they will, if we expect good, then that is what we will see. If we use the Mercury in retrograde times to reflect, reorganize and work on things that we have stuffed away,,,,, then we will be working with the energy of Mercury in retro and taking advantage of the time that we have to do that sort of stuff!

To me, each aspect and transit provides an opportunity to grow. It may seem like something negative from first glance but if we use it correctly then it can be beautiful :)

I will try to post a Mercury Retro article soon, I am planning on doing another lessons in the next day or so... Anyone else feel free to post things you have written or found useful, I love listening to others viewpoints! :)

Comment by Naware on July 28, 2009 at 9:01am: I think of astrology as setting up predispositions in one's personality...giving you a tendency towards certain things/thoughts/habits/likes/dislikes and while you can work against them sometimes that seems sort of hard because it feels "like you just are"...
