Hi Anamere, yes that would be great if we could go. Just let me know. I was in touch with Linda this morning and she said she would be happy to facilitate something whenever we are available. Chief Walker thank you for the information regarding your workshop. For geographical reasons I won't be able to attend at the present time. But you never know opportunities abound every day-so maybe some time in the near future I would be lucky enough to attend one of your workshops.

Hey Lindsay that sounds really interesting. illinois isn't too far from where I am. Maybe we could try and go. I return to college this week and 3 of my 5 classes are weekend classes. But it might be something I'm interested in attending if I can plan it out. I'll have to get with you more later about it. I've made emotion dolls but not spirit dolls. It does sound interesting.

Chief Walker, your workshop sounds really awesome but Deleware might be a bit of a drive for me. Thank you so much for listing it though. Maybe there are others in that area that could attend.

Lindsay,I think you will really find the workshop to be so much fun as well as spiritually rewarding.Every workshop is different but you will experience the same JOY in all of them.
I will be conducting one in Wilmington,Delaware on Saturday,October 3 at the Maat Temple at 1720 Chestnut Street.The time will be 11 to 3.Kim I hope to see you there.The cost is 65.00.Refreshments will be served.

I just wanted to let you all know that I have done some research looking for workshops near the Indiana area. It turns out I found a lady named Linda Dean that conducts Spirit Doll Workshops by request in Lindenhurst, IL. It would be about a 4hr trip from the Indianapolis,IN area. She has a studio called The Creative Essence Studio-you can google it and check it out online. Although she did tell me she needs to update her new address etc...since moving- it will still give you an idea of how the workshop is conducted. I contacted her this morning via email and she said she would be happy to put something together for those of us that might be interested. I don't know how many she can accomodate....but I can get further details and try to set something up with her if anyone else would be interested in attending a workshop with her. Just let me know and we will go from there! Cost of the workshop is $88 dollars I believe. Plus cost of travel and lodging if you plan on spending the night which I am sure most people will want to do. She said she now lives in a more rural setting so it should be a fairly peaceful experience. Thanks!

I really felt drawn to this forum. I feel like this is such a fantastic way of expressing our loving energy and sharing it with others. Words, intention, and creation are so often intertwined. I feel drawn to learn more about the making of spirit dolls. So I will take the advice I have read below in the other comments and do some research on the subject. I would also be interested in taking a workshop if anyone knows of one that will be coming up. Thanks so much....blessings of love and light to you all.....Lindsay

Yes...only with permission, even if only for personal use would be helpful. Perhaps recording the session for reference, if permitted. I would love to learn more about the history, belief in the power, and the power behind spirit dolls in general, and in different cultures. I know little from my Grandmother, and would love to learn more, specifically about the Native American Spirit Dolls. Desiree, I agree, I am sure you can channel that beautiful spirit...that is awesome.
