Personal Best
I am grateful for who I am and the life I am leading.
My achievements and shortcomings are not tallied on a giant scorecard. But at times, I may become preoccupied with my personal goals and comparing myself to others. As I stop judging and start appreciating my efforts, the burden of incessant str… Continue

Harmony
My life is a blessing of peace and harmony.
I begin this day with harmony in my thoughts and feelings. I am calm in mind and body. Through all of my activities, I stay attuned to my feelings and emotions. The moment I feel anxious or afraid, I consider that God's peace is always here for me. I stop, breathe deeply and claim God's peace as my own. My emotions calm.
As I bring a supportive sense of calm to my interactions with other… Continue

Near my home is a bluff studded with oak trees. The bluff, which faces south across Lompoc Valley and a dry river bed, is Federal land, well fenced off and isolated. This bluff has always peaked my curiosity as I can sense a lot of energy from it even from a distance.
Well, the other day while deep in thought I happened to wander through a somewhat open gate and found myself on this bluff (big innocent smile).
I gazed across the valley and town from where I stood in the shadow of the oak trees… Continue

Circulate
One with God, I make wise choices.
Honoring the circle of life on planet Earth, I make wise use of resources and protect the environment as part of my spiritual practice.
Like a loving mother, the Earth supports and sustains me. I return that love by reusing and recycling the materials I use. Through… Continue

2009 H1N1 Confirmed in an Iowa Cat
A 13 year old cat developed lethargy, decreased appetite and trouble breathing after several human members of its family became ill with H1N1 flu. Yesterday it was confirmed as the first case of H1N1 flu in a cat and the cat is recovering. To date, there is no indication that this cat passed the virus to any people.
In addition to people, at this point in the United State… Continue
This CRACKED me up!!! I am an Aquarius and just loved the first answer... everything IS energy, right?!
Q: How many Arians does it take to change a lightbulb?
A1: Just the one. You want to make something of it, eh?
A2: None: Arians aren't afraid of the dark.
A3: Only one Arian, but an awful lot of light bulbs. (*smash*)
Q: How many Taureans does it take to change a lightbulb?
A1: One. But only if they can celebrate afterwards with a ten course meal and some great sex.
A2: None: Taureans don't… Continue

Healing
I am open and receptive to the divine healing power within me.
I am filled with the breath of Spirit. The unlimited healing power of God revitalizes me in mind and body. If I find myself feeling a bit run down or harried by the tasks before me, I stop for a moment and become conscious of my breathing. I ta… Continue

At the end of a cul-de-sac here in Lompoc, California is the original site of the Spanish mission La Purisima de la Concepcion de Maria Santissima (I hope I got the full name right). The mission was built at the very base of rolling hills overlooking the valley.
Well, in 1812, while the U.S and England had each other by the throat in a pointless war, a massive earthquake struck this region. The mission was destroyed. It was later rebuilt 5 miles east of town, where it stands today. All that is… Continue
Just something that welled out of me. Nothing about this is true, rather, my own imagination at work.
I enjoy the night. Having said that, I must quantify why. 20 years ago I was struck by lightning, and that opened my senses to things beyond what most mortals are aware of. There are others like me, always having to wear sunglasses when the sun is up because our eyes are so sensitive, aware of the energy left behind by people when they leave this particular place in reality. And most aware of… Continue

Contribution
I am love in action, contributing to the well-being of others.
God's love expresses through me to bless others. I perceive the people with whom I interact as the children of God they truly are. I look for opportunities to be of help, to appreciate and to make a positive contribution.
I find many… Continue
